Felmersham Village Hall was built in the 1975 and is shared with the village lower school - Pinchmill School. The school makes use of the hall during the day while in the evenings at at weekends, the village has access.
The new School and the Village Hall was a joint project between the residents of Felmersham and Radwell and Bedfordshire County Council, the residents contributing an amount equivalent to the value of three detached properties in the village thus enabling the School to have a very large hall and the Villagers to have a facility they had been fundraising for, for many years.
- The main hall has a thermoplastic tiled floor.
- The committee room. Adjacent to the hall, but much smaller, this is
fitted with a bar unit, a sink, kettle etc. (The School owns the main kitchen which is not normally available to hirers
of the hall.) There is cupboard space
available for use by village organisations.
- The playing field is used for informal games of football, and hosts some
play equipment - a slide, swings, a small roundabout, an aerial slide etc.
