After a nail-biting weather watch we decided to cross all fingers and toes and carry on with the arrangements. Luck was on our side and no more snow fell. However, many minor roads were still treacherous and prevented quite a few people from getting there. Those hardy souls who did were rewarded with a great evening as always. Peter Scatterty, gallantly making a long journey, provided his ever enjoyable music, George kept the dancing up to scratch with a few new dances and a lot of old favourites and the food went down as well as ever. Entertainment was provided by the demo team, Andy piping and Fiona dancing the Lilt. We are all looking forward to next year`s Ceilidh already.
